The Only Chelsea Player That Didn't Get A Red Card In His Entire Career

Football will never be thought of without the the contribution of red cards. All players, at some point, loses their temper and does something stupid to get one. Therefore, it becomes very surprising to see a player, all through his career not getting one.

One out of those few players to do this is former Chelsea midfielder Damian Duff.

Duff did not get a red card in his entire career even while dwelling in the Premier League.

He plied his trade in the top division for eighteen years and even when spending fourteen of those years at low flight clubs, he never for once got ejected from a match.

Duff played for Chelsea between 2003 and 2006 winning two Premier League. He also played 392 times for Chelsea, Blackburn, Newcastle and Fulham scoring 54 goals.

His disciplinary record of not being sent off is highly regarded. Players like him when fouled garnered baskets of red cards in their career because of their lack of self control, or because of their style of defending.

Duff was always seen running up and down the pitch, working real hard, covering every corner. With over 300 games in England, he was only booked just 26 times.

Duff was really different. Almost a saint compared to the rascals he saw himself with.
