Seven Nigerian Music Producers Who Delved Into Singing But Failed

The Nigerian music industry has risen from the shackles it was back in the 80s, to a recognized industry in the world, and has a large toast of admirers globally right now than in the past.

Today, we bring to you, seven Nigerian music producers who delved into singing but failed in it.

7. At number seven, we have Del B. Born Ayodele Basil is a Nigerian music producer popular for producing for great names in the industry like, Wizkid, Kcee, Runtown, D'banj e.t.c
At one time, Del B delved into singing, releasing an album which failed to chart even though he featured the likes of Wizkid and Flavour to come to his rescue, but at the end of the day, they weren't able to save the album from flopping. Ever since then, we haven't heard from Del B pertaining singing. Maybe he understood it wasn't meant for him and focused on his production cause we've been seeing more of that of late, than the singing aspect of him.

6. At number six, we have Krizzbeatz the drummer boy. Krizzbeatz who came into limelight after producing Pana for Tekno is a Nigerian music producer from Lagos, Nigeria. Born Chris Alvin Sunday but known popularly as Krizzbeatz at one time delved into singing but failed to hit a mark and quietly bowed out.

5. Here at number five, we have Leriq, popular for producing Burna Boy's first hit song "Like To Party" Leriq whose real name is Eric Isaac Utere at a certain point in his career thought he could pull a string in performing and ventured into it, but the rest is history today.

4. Number four, we have Jamix, known for producing the boy group Styl Plus classic hit "Always On My Mind" Jamix delved into performing but failed to make a mark as an artiste in the industry.

3. At number three, we have Killertunes, Killertunes one of Nigeria's finest producers of all time who has produced for many A list artistes in the industry delved into performing as an artiste but has failed to proof himself in that field.

2. At number two is K Solo, one of Nigeria's classic veteran in beats production, with his beats shooting Timaya to households in Naija in 2008. Remember that signature in almost all tracks in 2008-2009, K Solo's production. The man behind it popularly known as K Solo at one time delved into performing but never made a name out of it.

1. At number one is no other person than the Don himself, Don Jazzy. The talented producer, record label executive and former business partner of D'banj popularly known as Don Jazzy made a couple of songs on his own but none made a mark in the industry for him as an artiste. Maybe that was why we didn't see an album from him cause there's no need flogging a stone your child knocked his or her leg on.

There you have it, Seven Nigerian Music Producers Who Delved Into Singing But Failed.
